This programme is curated and contextualised for artists who work with persons with disabilities, either in the mainstream setting, or in special education schools. Comprising three classroom workshops and one practicum module, artists will be equipped with competencies to facilitate arts-based learning for students with special needs.
The available workshops are:
- Workshop 1: Understanding Children with Special Needs (8 hours; 1 day)*
*Please note that artists must complete Workshop 1 before signing up for the other two workshops in any order.
- Workshop 2: Interacting and Working with Persons with Disabilities (8 hours; 1 day)
- Workshop 3: Adapting Programmes for Persons with Disabilities (8 hours; 1 day)
- Practicum Module (6 hours – 3 sessions X 2 hours, customised dates)^
^Only artists who have completed all three workshops are eligible to sign up for the practicum module.
