Basic Playwriting Workshop (2017/2018)
- OUTLINE -
This course has been designed to enable students to create short plays through research of a social issue of concern and relevance to them. The course will incorporate lectures and discussions, with an emphasis on practical work – writing.

Overall Objectives: - To impart to students basic playwriting techniques - To enable students to write a short play - To incorporate research and social issues as elements of playwriting

$25 per Hour
Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
