___________________________________________

Watercolor is handy, versatile and inexpensive medium capable of creating expressive art pieces or meticulously beautiful renderings. Popularly used in children book illustrations, comics, urban sketching and sketchbook journals, it is a highly useful skill for life-long art practice and appreciation.

Common misconception to understanding this media is that it can be handled similarly to other paints like poster color, oil or acrylic paintings. Learning the correct watercolor techniques will enhance students’ skill at watercolor and other forms of painting in general.

Proper materials will be provided and students are taught how to use them correctly through age-appropriate exercises and step-by-step artist demonstration creating one or several painting by the end of each session. Students will eventually develop their own painting style and preferred subject matter.

ONLINE VERSION
For online instruction, the necessary art equipment will be loaned with terms and conditions or purchased separately. Equipment and materials will be delivered to the school for a classroom engagement (one venue). Quantity based on number of student sign-up.

For home based learning, students may follow the lesson using their own equipment and materials, or prior arrangement can be made for purchase of individual materials package at additional cost.
