A Typography Adventure!
- OUTLINE -
A Typography Adventure! is a 6-session workshop available to cater for Secondary School and Pre-Tertiary students. Students will be introduced to a practice-based knowledge of the fundamentals of typography and graphic design. Students will be exposed to alternative and unconventional methods of creating typography. Students will develop their sense of aesthetics, craftsmanship and eye for details through a multi-disciplinary approach. Students will have a comprehensive understanding of typography and learn to express their creative ideas suitable for execution in the respective medium.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
Students will be introduced to typography and the role it plays in art & design contextualised in the everyday environment. Students will learn about the different forms and mediums that can be used in typography. Students will gain awareness on the importance of font communication especially in the social context.

$3600 (Materials cost included)
Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019/2020 until 31 December 2020.
