- OUTLINE -
Synopsis : 1. Students will be asked to study given topics such as flowers, fishes, insects etc. 2. Based on the selected motif, students will be guided in translating their concepts into graphic design. 3. The basic designs can then be enhanced with the use of textures and patterns. Highlights 1. Hands-on experience in the conceptualization, planning and to watch execution of murals or relief works. 2. Opportunity to express their creativity and imagination. 3. Appreciate the use of textures and patterns to further enhance their art work. 4. High quality art work may have a chance to be displayed within school premises. Learning point for the audience : 1. Concepts and practical skill in the creation of graphic design pieces. 2. Appreciation of the artistic potential of everyday objects and items.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
1. To introduce students to the basic concepts of graphic design. 2. To allow students to develop and express their creativity and imagination. 3. To create an increased awareness of the artistic potential of the surrounding environment, including still life, lines and shapes textures etc.

Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019/2020 until 31 December 2020.
