Clay art Experience/ Muddy Hands2019
- OUTLINE -
-This programme is design for student with no Ceramics or pottery background as an introduction to clay. -Participant will be introduced to clay as a media to create functional form. -To learn, understands the important of foundation skill and knowledge about ceramics art. -Be exposed and nurture creative mind with ceramics art. -Create work with basic/advance skill set. -Learn and share experience related knowledge while creating art.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
1. Student will be exposed to a fun and existing approach for ceramics art on a electrical wheel. 2. Student will have more awareness and basic knowledge on ceramics art. 3. Student will have exposure on clay media. 4. Student will experience the process of creating an Art work on the wheel. 5. Student will learn the processes and technique of creating simple artwork /functional item with clay. 6. Student will create their own pieces of art. 7. Student will see and participial in an ancient technique that we are still being practise till now. 8. Develop 3D visualization.

15 per Hour
Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019-2021 until 31 December 2021.
