Metal Tooling ( aluminium, copper-tooling and mural )

- OUTLINE -

Synopsis : 1. Students will be asked to study given topics such as flowers , fishes , insects or large themes such as racial harmony or Singaporean culture. 2. Students will then be taught to compose designs based on the theme using lines and shapes. 3. Finally , students will be taught skills required to translate their designs into metal-relief art pieces. Highlights 1. Practical, hands-on experience in conceptualization, planning and to watch execution of metal-relief art pieces. 2. Opportunity to express their creativity in metal-relief art forms. 3. Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.

The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019/2020 until 31 December 2020.
