- OUTLINE -
A basic photography workshop catered to students from 13 to 18 interested in photography. Students will learn about photography's progression as an artistic medium and pick up technical skills to help them create the pictures they want using a DSLR camera and edit them in a photo editing software. Students will produce a series of eight to ten photos at the end of the session. This program is done in collaboration with Nikon School, with DSLR cameras during the sessions provided by them.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
1. Students to learn the progression of photography as an artistic medium and be exposed to different forms of photography 2. Students to learn technical skills such as how to make images using a DSLR and how to edit photos using photo editing software 3. Students to conceptualize and shoot a photo series on their own and present at the end of the 10 sessions

Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2017/2018 until 31 December 2018.
