Hip Hop Dance Programme

- OUTLINE -

JUMP Productions’ Hip Hop (Street Dance) curriculum is an introductory programme for students to learn about Hiphop as a culture as well as a dance genre. They will learn about the history and background of Hip Hop (Street Dance), how it has grown and evolved rapidly over time, as well as its context in the local dance scene. In this programme, students will also learn to better understand their physical structures and gain a better self- and body awareness through learning the dance techniques and practising how to execute them with strength and precision.
In this programme, students will also be introduced to choreography, as well as learn the basics of combining Hip Hop (Street Dance) dance techniques into simple routines. Besides individual creativity, teamwork is highly encouraged.
