The Ensemble of Chinese Wind and Percussion
- OUTLINE -
Resonate with Reverberance as they introduce you the Chinese musical instruments that are typically found in a Wind and Percussion ensemble. Through a vibrant and interactive performance, students will be introduced to Wind instruments such as the dizi, suona, sheng and Percussion instruments such as drums, cymbals and gongs. Students will also get a chance to come up on stage and to make music with Reverberance! Repertoires of the performance range from classics of Wind and Percussion Music, Percussion Pieces and to popular tunes that the students can relate to.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
1. To create and increase the awareness towards the art form of Chinese music, particularly the form of Chinese Wind and Percussion music 2. To identify and learn more about the instruments in terms of sound, technique, music expression, etc. 3. to expose students to essential Chinese instrumental music pieces 4. To further engage the students in the arts through the development of a sense of appreciation for the art form

- COST -
$2200 (Cost of programme is negotiable with booking of 2 or more shows on the same day.)
Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019-2022 until 31 December 2022.
