Fun with Art


In this workshop, students will be exposed to a wide range of art forms and mediums. They can learn to draw and paint, to create huge watches, paint on umbrellas, sculptures, paper-cut, do casting, or even design . Through painting, cutting & pasting, printing, computer and mixed media, students will have fun creating art work which is functional, and helps to liven up the school.


1.To provide a fun and enjoyable art programme so as to develop students' love for the visual arts. 2.To unleash students' creativity and artistic potential. 3.To develop students' visual literacy through the process of making and studying art. 4.To encourage students to work with each other and build up team spirit. 5.Incorporate art history and National Education into art practical. 6.To produce art work on useful object. 7.To decorate the school and environment with art works. 8.At the end of the workshop, students will learn that art can be part of their daily life. 9.They will learn to be more sensitive to the current design trend. 10.Students will also learn how to apply artists' style on their work and realise that art history is not boring. 11.Students will be able to work with a vast variety of materials and media, as well as acquire and apply the skills and techniques learnt. 12.The fun of painting on unconventional material.

Programme cost does not include materials cost. Materials to be provided by school. Cost of materials depend on the number of students and the type of medium selected

Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.

The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019-2021 until 31 December 2021.
