Creative Movement Programme

JUMP Productions’ Creative Movement curriculum is an introductory programme for students to engage their minds and their bodies. They will learn to better understand their physical structures and gain a better self- and body awareness by exploring the many ways of using their different body parts, aside from how they usually would in normal daily activities. In this programme, students will also learn the basics of creating dance movements by using choreographic tools such as space, shape, textures, dynamics, and execution. Besides individual creativity, teamwork is highly encouraged. Simple choreography will be introduced to the students in this phase of the programme as well. Students will also learn to better communicate with their classmates and understand them better while working with each other on group assignments.
