Malay Legend through Dance Drama

- OUTLINE -
Popular Malay legends are usually told through generations from grandparents to grand children or through history books. Through this dance drama, students will have a better understanding of stories of ancient heroes such as Hang Tuah and Si Tanggang.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
To inform, educate and create awareness of the stories of Malay legends. Students will be able to learn the value of respect and filial piety through the story of 'Si Tanggang'. They will also be able to see props and outfits of the villagers in Malay kampongs in the past.

$1500 (15% discount for second performance on the same day)
Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
