Allow students to learn through an online link to watch in the classrooms/during homebased learning or2. Allow students to learn through a Live broadcast in the classrooms/during homebased learning.Note: Materials will not be provided for the digital format of the programme.___________________________________________Caricatures are drawn for newspapers in the past, but are currently a popular art-form for illustrations, entertainment and gifts. Caricature is also widely applied in character development for animation and games.Learn the techniques from professional caricature artists of Cartoon.SG. Uncover the secrets of how to systematically observe a face to capture the likeness and be exposed to the many styles for exaggeration from simple cartooning drawings to hyper-realism painting.Cartoon.SG artists are full-time professional artists drawing at Singapore’s largest theme park and represent Singapore in International competitions. They will inspire with their skills in a fun way and systematically cover the basics for beginners as well as coaching for advance students. No prerequisite skills required. Everyone can draw!ONLINE VERSIONStudent can follow the online class with basic art materials available in school or at home.
- LEARNING OBJECTIVES -
Exposure to the art of caricatures. Develop observation skills. Apply systematic method for drawing a face. Identify exaggeration potentials for comic effect. Distinguish and appreciate good caricatures. Develop a life long skill for drawing and painting.

$8 per Hour
$8 per student (No GST), All equipments and materials will be provided
Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise the programme cost. There is a subsidy of up to 50% of the programme cost for mainstream schools, and up to 70% of the programme cost for Special Education Schools.
The Tote Board Arts Grant is not applicable to pre-schools. NAC partners selected pre-school centres to receive funding to purchase Pre-School AEP.
The following programme is approved under NAC-AEP 2019/2021 until 31 December 2021.
